This episode gets into the topic of hyperfocus, a trait that some have characterized as a superpower and others have indicated it’s rather destructive nature. We go into how those of us with ADHD can make hyperfocus work for us and against us in different contexts. We look at it from personal experiences and explore how it is that some people seem to be able to harness their hyperfocus and reach new heights (i.e. flow states), while others spin their wheels incessantly.
